The internal halyard winch drum is the mechanism that operates a cable based internal halyard flagpole. The gearless winches utilized internal brakes which release when a winch handle is inserted and rotational pressure is applied. The winch will lock at any position when the winch handle is removed.

There are three different sizes available. Small, large, and x-large.

Small – used on flagpoles up to 45′ – has a 1-1/2″ drum width
Large – used on flagpoles 50′-80′ – has a 2″ drum width
X-Large – used on flagpoles 80′ and higher – has a 5″ drum width

    The aluminum ball is a decorative ornament for the top of the flagpole. While the flagpole does not need it, the flagpole looks complete with it. The diameter of the ball should closely match the diameter of the base of the flagpole. We have gold, clear anodized, and satin balls available on our website.     The spindle on the 2″-8″ balls are 1/2″-13NC. The spindle on the 10″ & 12″ balls are 5/8″-11NC.

    The cam action cleat is used in rope based internal halyard flagpoles. This cam action cleat is unmounted, which makes it more versatile. Includes two #10-32NC stainless steel mounting screws.

  • Cable Assembly

    Cable Assemblies

    Cable assemblies are used on cable based internal halyard flagpoles. This is the cable that runs the entire flagpole. The cable must be the exact height of the flagpole for it to work correctly. Includes stainless steel thimble, two copper crimps, and two ball stoppers. They must be installed to the assembly in the field.

    20′ – 35′ flagpoles: 1/8″ stainless steel cable
    40′ and up flagpoles: 3/16″ stainless steel cable
