1. LOOK AT CHRISTMAS LIGHT DISPLAYS
Get together with friends or family and go check out the best Christmas lights around. There are homes around us with great displays that attract hundreds of people each year.
2. WATCH A HOLIDAY MOVIE
This year’s favorite around the office is Christmas Chronicles on Netflix. It gets you into the Christmas spirit, and Kurt Russell plays a GREAT Santa, some are saying the BEST SANTA EVER!
3. MAKE A GINGERBREAD HOUSE
A tradition that lies in many families, whether it be a competition or a fun time with the kids, it is a great way to get everyone together and be creative.
4. WEAR AN UGLY SWEATER
It is fun to get together with friends and have an ugly sweater Christmas party or an office party full of ugly sweaters. Some of the best places to find ugly sweaters are in grandmas closet, the thrift store, or creating your own.
5. BAKE CHRISTMAS TREATS
Getting together with a group of friends or family to bake your favorite Christmas treats is a must. Listening to Christmas music while baking will get you into the Holiday spirit! Our office collaborated the best treats to bake:
Kim: Pumpkin Bread, Cranberry Bread, and Russian Tea Cakes
Chris: Mint Meringue & Fudge
Sam: Butterscotch Peanut Butter Corn Flake Clusters
Donna: Mini Cherry Cheesecakes
Maddi: Decorated Sugar Cookies, Corn Flake Christmas Wreaths & Puppy Chow
Brent: M&M cookies
6. SEND A HOLIDAY CARD TO SOMEONE IN THE ARMED FORCES
This is a difficult time of year for those who cannot come home for Christmas. Sending a card or care package will lift your holiday spirit knowing it makes a difference for those serving. Remember, supporting our military is important all year long, but especially during the holiday season.
