Although Colorado Day was Saturday, August 1, doesn’t mean we forgot about it. Our awesome state deserves to be celebrated more than one day a year. The Colorado flag is very recognizable, so we sell a lot of them. However, Colorado Custom Flags have become more popular and we have customers who have created these variations themselves.
What does the Colorado Flag look like?
Colorado has one of the better state flag designs in the US. It is simple and has a memorable design.
There are three horizontal stripes: blue, white, blue with a red C surrounding a gold circle. Here is the symbolism and meaning behind the Colorado flag:
Blue Stripes: Represents clear, blue skies
White Stripe: Snow on the mountains
Red C: Red Soil
Gold Circle: Year-round sunshine
Here are a few of our favorite Colorado Custom Flags
Colorado Park Burger Flag
This Colorado flag design replaces the gold circle with a burger. Park Burger encourages their customers to take photos at the summit of 14’ers with the Park Burger flag.
Middle School Competition
This flag was designed by a middle school student in an art competition. The whimsical design is fun with relevant symbols including the sun, snowflakes, and mountains.
Colorado Daisy Flag
This daisy custom Colorado flag was designed for a EDM festival. It provides a great visual, especially when meeting a large group of friends. We miss concerts and festivals.
Camp Experience Flag
This Colorado custom design includes a gold flower rather than the gold circle. Although it is similar to the daisy flag, it is still unique. The C and flower is the logo of a Camp Experience, networking organization that connects women, gives back, and helps grow as individuals in professional endeavors.
Team Monkey Love
This fun design was adapted from the Colorado flag for a running club. The yellow heart replaces the gold circle, a tagline was added to the white stripe, and cute, little monkey is holding up the C.
Mountains and the Colorado flag go hand in hand. A silhouette mountain range with trees was incorporated into the bottom blue stripe. This flag was designed for personal use.
