Where is Custom Flag Company Located?

Tuesday night we had the pleasure of hosting a networking event for the Westminster Chamber at Custom Flag Company. It was a great turn out, it included Westminster business members, personal friends, and neighbors of Custom Flag Company.  While we enjoy the wonderful opportunity to introduce our products, services, and our team, showcasing our neighborhood is also a top priority. Hosting this event makes us realize how many residents from the Denver area are unfamiliar with the rich, cultural history of our little neighborhood.

Since we moved into our building in 2004, the neighborhood has been called:
South Westminster
South Westminster Art District (SWAG)
Old Town Westminster
Original Westminster
Harris Park
Historic Westminster
Heart of Westminster
I think it is safe to say, our Custom Flag Co. neighborhood has had an identity problem over the past several years.

Where exactly is Custom Flag Company Located?
We are in Colorado, a suburb north-west of Denver, in the city of Westminster.
Custom Flag Co. is in the South area of Westminster, the Harris Park Neighborhood.
We are located on a historic block, which is known as the Heart of Westminster.
Now that the city has gone through a re-branding, the neighborhood is now, Historic Westminster.

A little background:
This area is rich with history and was established after the construction of the BNSF rail line in 1881. The area was known for its apple and cherry orchards. In 1911, the town of Harris voted to incorporate as the town of Westminster and continued to grow into one of the largest orchard centers in the country. Our corner of 73rd and Bradburn housed the original post office, a doctors office, an automotive center, a print facility, and an upholstery/drapery factory. We believe our location in this neighborhood is the perfect setting to promote flags and flagpoles.

With the recent opening of the commuter train, new development, and new businesses moving into the neighborhood, the area is thriving making it a great place to visit.

We love our home and welcome you to stop by and check it out!
