What’s the most important lesson you learned in the last year?
Cultivating trust in relationships is a delicate, complicated, and deeply important endeavor, in business and in life. Effective communication in relationships is as critical, and sometimes elusive, as ever given today's various and newer mediums to engage our community.
What’s your ‘focus word’ this year and how are you implementing it?
Discipline. It’s pretty simple: for example, I need to be disciplined to get to bed early this year. The hope is this leads to a rested, grounded, available, and less coffee’d up husband, dad, neighbor, and worker. Results are pending.
Anything exciting you want to share with our readers?
My kids are exciting. My wife and I have a great time with the three brothers: at home, in the city, and out on the trail. It is a joy, a privilege, and a labor to grow with my sons.
