Meet the Team :: Fred Mahe
Fred has over twenty years experience in the flag business. Fred is a constant source of energy. His presence not only lifts the spirit of his clients but the people he works with. During his free time you can find him skiing, biking, hiking, volunteering at church, influencing a Scout or spending time with his grandchildren. He really knows how to celebrate a birthday…no not cake but by taking a 75 mile bike ride.
How would you describe your job to a child?
I get to sell symbols of Patriotism, mainly the flag of our country, The Stars and Stripes, or perhaps for the State of Colorado or other states and even for our sports teams, like the Broncos. I get to meet new people every day to talk to them about their flag or flagpole. My job is fun and I really enjoy it.
What is your motto or personal mantra?
Be true to oneself
What’s your favorite line from a film?
Not sure but it would have to come from John Wayne!!
What phone app can you not do without?
The weather, how boring
What’s the most important lesson you learned in the last year?
Not just in the last year but my most important lesson was confirmed again last year, one needs to give others a hand when they need it, not when it is convenient to you. How many times has one saw a situation where you knew you have the abilities to be in assistance in some way to help solve at least some of the problem but “You were too busy” or “Some one should help them” or “They do not look good, dirty clothes or hair messed up or something is not right” or…. You get the picture You feel better if you ahead and throw those thoughts out, jump in and give a hand.
What’s your ‘focus word’ this year and how are you implementing it?
Trust
