2025 Flag Flying Calendar

The 2025 flag flying calendar is here. When should you fly your American flag? You should fly your flag proudly everyday. However, there are some days to make sure you fly your flag if you do not fly it everyday. They are listed below. Another question, when should you fly your flag at half-staff? There are five days we know flags will be at half-staff, but there could be more throughout the year if the President or your Governor orders flags to half-staff. The list of half-staff days are below. The more unique half-staff we had this year, was for Former President Jimmy Carter. After a death of a former president or president elect, flags fly at half-staff for 30 days.

If you would like to sign up for half-staff notifications from us, go to the bottom of the page and fill in your information. Here are the five half-staff days we already know flags will be down.
