We offer many types and finishes of In-ground flagpoles.
Once the height of the flagpole is determined, we will need to determine if the type of flagpole-internal or external halyard.
Internal Halyard -the rope or cable and components are inside of the pole. The rope is concealed by a locking door that restricts access to the rope for raising and lowering the flag. The benefits of an internal halyard flagpole this system prevents theft, vandalism and is typically less noisy.

Internal Halyard Flagpole with Cam-Action Cleat
External Halyard -the rope runs up and down on the outside of the flagpole. The rope is held down with a cleat and runs up to a pulley system at the top of the pole known as a truck. This is a “traditional” flagpole, similar to what you might remember at your elementary school. The benefits of an external halyard flagpole is the ease of use and costs less than an internal halyard flagpole.

External Halyard Flagpole
Then the material will need to be determined. We offer three materials of in-ground flagpoles: Aluminum, Fiberglass, or Steel
Aluminum: The most common type of flagpole. These come in one-piece shafts, two-piece commercial shafts, telescoping, sectional flagpoles. Aluminum flagpoles are available in silver, clear anodized, bronze, black and custom colors. Aluminum flagpoles are available in either internal or external halyard.
Fiberglass: White in color and available with external or internal components. Finished with high luster finish and essentially maintenance free.
Steel: We manufacture steel external halyard flagpoles and recommend steel for residential flagpoles or a great way to fly attention flags. The steel is raw and we paint to color of choice (typically silver, white or black). The benefits of steel is the strength and cost. Steel flagpoles do require maintenance (painting) every couple years.
Finally, the finish will need to be determined.
Finishes:
Satin Aluminum- Silver in color, the most common finish, least expensive.
Clear Anodized- Silver in color, prevents corrosion in climates of high humidity, slightly more expensive than satin finish.
Bronze Anodized- Bronze in color
Black Anodized- Black in color
Custom Colors Available

Lastly, once a decision on height, material, system (internal or external) and finish has been determined there are many grades of flagpoles. These grades are determined by the base diameter of the flagpole plus the wall thickness of the flagpole shaft to determine a wind rating. Typically a wind rating of 90 MPH is more than sufficient in the State of Colorado.
