Everything happens for a reason. Looking back I realize that God opened many doors and provided the opportunity for me and my father to purchase Custom Flag Company. Our journey began in 1998 in the living room of my home. We quickly moved to our renovated underground headquarters (my basement). We soon outgrew that space and purchased the building we currently occupy in South Westminster, a suburb north of Denver, Colorado.
Our passion is promoting SPIRIT, old fashioned, patriotic spirit. Helping clients project their image with custom printed products and increasing visibility with flag or banner movement. That is what we do. We install flagpoles, banner poles, banners, flags. We maintain flagpoles, repair flagpoles, move flagpoles. We provide a monthly service to take down your flag, hang a reserve flag—clean and mend the one that was flying—and store it for the next month. That way your flags ALWAYS look great!
We design and print custom flags, banners, wave banners, tear-drop banners. We have several local and national home builder accounts, national corporate accounts, local and national municipalities, as well as create and design a single flag for a special occasion.

Kim Griebling, Owner
Kim is the President of Custom Flag Company. She wears many hats that include sales, marketing, human resources, business development, IT, janitorial service just to name a few. If she is not working she is probably on the baseball diamond cheering on her kids. She enjoys travel, family, reading and sports.

Phil Millett, Owner
He is a ROCK. He is tough. He will go into the field and dig a hole, climb a pole do whatever it takes to get a job done but his true expertise is relationships and relationships equal sales. He keeps trying to retire but we won’t let him so his vacations keep getting longer and longer. His excuses not to work are…golf, racquetball, Rockies games and word puzzles. He enjoys fine dining, cocktails, and gambling. He has made his fantasy golf team a part-time job by winning two years in a row!

Fred Mahe, Executive Account Rep
Fred is a constant source of energy. His presence not only lifts the spirit of his clients but the people he works with. During his free time you can find him skiing, biking, hiking, volunteering at church, influencing a Scout or spending time with his grandchildren. He really knows how to celebrate a birthday…no not cake but by taking a 70 mile bike ride.

Chris Payne, Operations Manager
Chris began his journey with Custom Flag Company during his senior year of high school. He worked here part-time a few summers during college and found himself back a few years after college graduation managing our service department. He is very active not only with sports (skiing, biking, running), but with his family and church. He enjoys travel, food, history and music.

Julie Bennett, Customer Service, Marketing, Graphic Designer
Add sales, customer service, graphic design, marketing, office management and you get Julie. When Julie is not in the office she enjoys reading, yoga, music and travel. During hockey season you will usually find her sipping a Starbucks at the rink watching her son play.

Our amazing Service Crew Jeff & Josh
Jeff is a full-time student studying to become a fire fighter. His passions are Christ, friends and family. You can bribe Jeff with a dozen or so Buffalo Wild Wings with some sweet tea!
Josh is dedicated to the inner city youth as a leader of Young Life in Denver, Colorado. He is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys hiking and camping in the Colorado Mountains.

Jennifer Allen, Office Administrator & Seamstress
When she is not in the office or behind a sewing machine she is chauffeuring her children to and from the ice rink. She loves being creative with knitting, making jewelry and sewing. Her guilty pleasures include sushi and getting a pedicure.
Diane Goldman, Seamstress
Diane assists Jennifer with mending flags but also helps create custom appliquéd flags. She is an artist and loves tinkering with projects.

Tammy Reeves, Sales Representative
We are a family business and our most recent addition to Custom Flag Company is family. Tammy is the daughter of Phil, the sister to Kim and cousin of Jennifer. She recently gave up teaching full time to pursue an empty nesting career. She lives in eastern Colorado and will cover the territory of north and eastern Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska and Kansas. Spending time with her husband and daughters top her list but she also enjoys reading, quilting, and summer nights on the deck.
